The Rat Race
The event in Detroit drew the greatest number of participants clamoring to pit their sanders against one another. It was dubbed the Rat Race, because the final drags came down to a pair of "Rats" entered by Fred Wendt. These racers were fast! They beat a host of machines that had a history of tromping other sanders. Once again, Andre LeFebvre entered and took home an award for his awesome sander, "The Flying Edge". We fully expect to see him tearing up the track in Vegas this summer. Everyone who attended would attest that there was no shortage of excitement in Motor City for this race—it was ALL about SPEED!
