We purchase more than 100,000,000 pounds of steel per year and have three in-house steel mills that offer the advantage of design and production flexibility.

Plating
Accuride plates over 75,000,000 square feet of material per year and is the largest zinc plater in the world. We were the first slide manufacturer to use the electrocoating process on ball bearing slides, and have developed finishes that vigorously resist corrosion. Our in-house plating methods give us lower costs and a strong measure of quality control.
Quality Control
Accuride makes a science out of quality manufacturing. Over the years, we have developed highly efficient methods and techniques—all built around our commitment to quality. In fact, Accuride was the first U.S. based slide manufacturer awarded ISO 9000 certification. Today, all our production facilities have quality management systems registered to ISO 9001:2000.
Accuride's Mexicali, Mexico, Northhampton, UK and Diez, Germany plants are certified to the ISO14001 Environmental Standard.
Our commitment to the automotive industry is evident with the UK and German plants both obtaining the ISO TS16949 certification
Testing
Our test laboratory is among the largest in the industry. We test to meet or exceed standards established by ANSI and other testing agencies. Customized testing can be accommodated upon customer request.
