Santa Fe Springs, CA-Accuride expands the 100-pound, full extension family of slides with the addition of the 3832 Touch Release and Heavy-Duty Touch Release. These products hold drawers or rollout shelves in a closed position until activated by touch. Pushing on the drawer front propels it open about 2 inches.

Designed to enhance residential and commercial installations, the 3832TR is well suited to portable cabinets or equipment for medical and educational environments. Model 3832HDTR has a stronger hold-in force built for more demanding applications such as RV or marine cabinetry.

The Touch Release products eliminate the need for drawer pulls, providing the aesthetics of simple, clean drawer fronts, while offering a good solution for those who have difficulty grasping drawer pulls. Drawer fronts without protruding pulls to collect dirt or entangle users also increase the safety and cleanliness of environments.

Santa Fe Springs, CA-Accuride announces the addition of the Quick Lift to their media hardware collection. The Quick Lift is a remote controlled, motorized assembly designed to carry flat-panel televisions in wood cabinetry. The lift rises for viewing or lowers to conceal screens when not in use.

Streamlined for quick installation, the Quick Lift is pre-wired and pre-mounted to a 3/4" thick backing board that is secured to the rear of the cabinet. Installation requires only standard tools.

The Quick Lift is compatible with most flat-panel television screens up to 50" diagonal and 33.5" tall. It has reinforced steel rails that offer strength and stability, supporting up to a 120-pound load.

The hole and slot pattern on the unit provides several options for bracket and television positioning. Built-in cable management keeps wires clear of the mechanism.

The Quick Lift gives cabinetmakers more design flexibility as it fits cabinet widths of 28" and greater. For cabinets constructed with a fixed lid, an optional bracket kit is available.

Santa Fe Springs, CA - Accuride announces the availability of new timesaving Production Packaging for slide models 3832 (lengths 10"-28" only), 3834 and 3732 (all lengths).

Production packaging is unique in that the slides are shipped with the drawer members disconnected from the cabinet members. The two types of members are packaged separately within the same box, which allows the drawer members to be distributed to a different area of the cabinet shop for installation. Cabinetmakers using 100 pairs of slides per month can save approximately one full day of labor per year with production packaging.

Santa Fe Springs, CA - Gather your pit crews and soup up that belt sander! Accuride announces the premier of the Belt Sander Racing Association (BRSA) with a special event planned for this summer’s AWFS®Fair in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 18 – July 21, 2007.

Accuride and the AWFS®Fair tradeshow committee have developed this event to bring together belt sander racing enthusiasts to have fun and compete for awards on a 12" wide, 75' long wooden track. First, second, and third place awards will be presented, along with special recognition given to entrants for Best Design Theme and Greatest Wipe Out.

“I don’t think attendees have ever seen anything like this; it is an incredible, exciting, and fun event. Santa Fe Springs, CA - The Eclipse undermount continues to evolve with new lengths, new options, and expanded installation features. Four additional lengths of 15", 21", 26", and 28" allow for full maximization of cabinet space. The complete offering also includes lengths 12"–28" in 2" increments.

The Eclipse products now have slotted holes to allow for front-to-back adjustment of the slide during installation and a ¼-turn Cam Lock has been incorporated to secure the drawer front position after horizontal adjustments are performed.

An Optional Inset Bracket Kit has been made available for inset face frame applications—eliminating the need to block out installations. The bracket simply indexes off the corner of the face frame and provides the adjustability to fit a variety of inset depths. A companion inset face frame bracket for drawers mounted at the bottom of cabinets is also available.

The Eclipse products are certified to BHMA Grade 1 HD-100 Standard. Model 3132EC offers premium Easy-Close with an integrated mechanism for a fluid, gentle close preventing drawer slam; and Model 3132SC, with a self-closing mechanism to close drawers and keep them closed. Both carry a 100-pound load rating in 30" wide drawers and offer horizontal and vertical drawer front adjustment.

Santa Fe Springs, CA-Accuride announces the introduction of models 3832 Touch Release and 3832 Heavy-Duty Touch Release. These slides hold drawers, shelves, or cargo trays in a closed position until activated by touch. A push on the front of the drawer releases and propels it open about 2 inches.

Model 3832TR is well suited to portable cabinets, toolboxes, or equipment carts in medical, institutional, or manufacturing environments. It requires about 11 pounds of force to activate the release. Model 3832HDTR has a more robust positive hold, requiring a force of about 17–19 pounds. It is designed for more demanding applications subjected to vibration such as those found in RVs, aircraft, fire and rescue vehicles, or watercraft.

The Touch Release products eliminate the need for drawer pulls, providing the aesthetics of simple, clean drawer fronts, while offering a safer solution in medical and industrial equipment or cabinetry. These slides carry loads up to 100 pounds and have a lever disconnect to remove drawers quickly and easily. A cam adjustment feature allows for precise vertical alignment of drawer fronts.
