The International Woodworking Fair 2016 is almost here and precision movement solution leader, Accuride, is rolling into Atlanta this year with new product offerings that open up new possibilities for woodworkers. In addition, Accuride will also display new electronic lock security access control system, Senseon, a finalist for the IWF’s Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award.
Taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, August 24-27th, the International Woodworking Fair 2016 promises to be one of this year’s most-exciting and inspiring woodworking trade shows in the world. The fair will feature exhibits from the world’s leading woodworking businesses and will be attended by thousands of passionate woodworkers excited to interact with the latest industry developments.
At IWF 2016, Accuride will be exhibiting the 3135EC, Accuride’s latest innovation in the world of high-performance undermount slides with easy-close technology.
Fully-concealed, the 3135EC undermount slide offers a discrete aesthetic for woodworking designers and professionals in a variety of retail, commercial and residential settings. With these slides, designers now have the strength, reliability and versatility of Accuride slides, but hidden to allow the true beauty of the wood to shine.
Of course, the appeal of the 3135EC in woodworking applications goes beyond just visual aesthetics. The easy-close technology built into the Accuride slide creates nearly soundless drawers that fit perfectly with elegant woodworking projects. The simple touch aspect of Accuride’s easy-close technology offers a modern, efficient furniture experience.
Plus, woodworking professionals will appreciate that these commercial-grade undermount slides have been redesigned to offer improved full extension movement, a 100-pound load rating, reduced noise, minimal side-to-side movement and drawer sagging, consistent soft close action and a 3-way drawer front adjustment feature.
Accuride will also be exhibiting the 3832 Classic and CH3832, both slides have been enhanced to provide exceptionally smooth and fluid movement with less friction and drag. Re-engineered longer ball retainers with more ball bearings allows for better strength and more reliable movement in any commercial and residential application. With a 100 lbs. load rating, full extension and lever disconnect, the new 3832 Classic and CH3832 give woodworkers better options for either indoor or outdoor uses.
Accuride will also be previewing our extra heavy duty slide AL4160 made to withstand corrosive environments and up to 660 lbs as well as our our award-winning, heavy duty aluminum slide, 116RC. European inspired and designed, the 116RC sliding door hardware is perfect for large and heavy doors with low pull force. Bracket can hold door weights up to 595 lbs while optional dampeners can decelerate door closing.
Along with these enhanced slide movement solutions, Accuride will be bringing their electronic lock security access control system, Senseon. Released earlier this year, Senseon has already grabbed attention at IWF as a finalist for the Challengers Award. A panel of distinguished judges, all respected professionals from a diverse cross-section of the industry, hand-picked Senseon to be a finalist because of the system’s innovative technology.
Those looking to interact with Accuride, the 3135EC, the 3832 Classic and CH3832, the AL4160, the 116RC slides, and Senseon at IWF 2016 can find the company at booth #1607.
