Senseon® Secure Access was in attendance at the 2016 Healthcare Design Expo and Conference in Houston, TX.
This year’s expo, hosted by Healthcare Design Magazine, was held from November 12-15 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The aim of the expo is to host the latest and most innovative design solutions for the medical field. HCD offered over a hundred seminars that analyze the latest trends, research, and strategies in healthcare.
The event attracts thousands of visitors each year. Attendees include architects, engineers, and medical practitioners, among other professionals in the healthcare industry. The expo also honors outstanding professionals in the field. This year’s Changemaker Award recipients and keynote speakers were D. Kirk Hamilton and Jaynelle Stichler, founders and editors of Health Environments Research & Design Journal.
Getting back to Senseon, the company’s Solutions Marketing Director, Greg Rewers, was beaming in attendance. “The healthcare field is a challenging one,” says Rewers, “but Senseon makes it significantly easier. Staff can access or secure sensitive contents with just a tap of a card. And because Senseon cabinet secure access is entirely programmable, they can set up the system to automatically lock a door or drawer after a certain period of time. There are unlimited customization options.”
The company booth included two transparent Senseon-equipped cabinets so visitors could test the keyless lock system for themselves. “We’re happy with the response here at HCD. I think our team did a terrific job of showing what Senseon is about and what it does to bring the healthcare design of tomorrow into the present.”
